Europea Microfusioni Aerospaziali, S.p.A., or simply EMA, is a world-leading high-precision foundry specializing in the production of rotor blades, stators, and turbine components for the most advanced jet engines used in civil and military aviation, naval propulsion, and turbogases in power plants for electricity generation.

EMA uses the production technique of “microcasting at “lost wax”, using only vacuum casting, and is one of the few foundries in the world capable of producing Single-Crystal Fusions (“Single Crystal, SX”), at Directional Solidification (“Directionally Solidified, DS”), Equiaxial (“Equiaxed, EXQ”).

EMA produces castings using superalloys based on Nickel and Cobalt state-of-the-art. EMA has a single plant in southern Italy, in Morra De Sanctis, in the province of Avellino.

Brand and logo

“EMA” is a logo/icon of exclusive property of EUROPEAN MICROMERGERS AEROSPACE SPA. The trademark and the logo of third parties on the Site are the property of their respective owners. The use or reproduction in any form and manner of these trademarks, logos and icons, protected by Italian and international laws on copyright and Industrial/Intellectual Property, are prohibited.

Guarantees

EMA makes no warranties:

  1. hat the content of the Site is free from errors;
  2. regarding the results that can be obtained by using this Site;
  3. regarding the accuracy of the information on the Site.

Final clauses

These terms and conditions, together with the Legal Information, represent the entire Agreement between you and EMA regarding the use of the Site and supersede any prior agreement or statement. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change the Legal Information and these terms and conditions at any time by making known the new terms and conditions through the Site. The new terms and conditions will be valid and effective from the moment they are published on the Site. The use of the Site by the User will be subject to the terms and conditions published on the Site at the time of use.

In the event of one or more terms, clauses or conditions of the agreement being invalid or ineffective for any reason, such invalidity or ineffectiveness shall not result in the invalidity or ineffectiveness of the other terms, clauses and conditions and those deemed invalid shall be deemed void. We are obliged to work in good faith to replace invalid or ineffective terms, clauses and conditions with new agreements that are as far as possible of similar content and respect the set of interests set out in the agreement.

All the preceding covenants are inseparable from each other. You declare that you have carefully read them and accept them in their entirety without any exceptions and/or reservations.

Reports and complaints

We undertake, upon a duly motivated request sent in writing, to promptly remove any material on the Site that may result from industrial or intellectual property rights of third parties, or the property of parties other than EMA.

Legal notice

Definitions

“EMA” or “Owner” means Europea Microfusioni Aerospaziali SPA – Single Partner Company – directed and coordinated by ROLLS-ROYCE PLC, with only headquarters in the industrial zone ASI Morra De Sanctis (AV), Italy;

“Website” means the website www.emaht.com under the name of EMA;

“User” or “You” means any visitor and/or user of the Site;

“Agreement” means this Act and the Terms of Use.

 

The various sections of the Site are managed by us of EMA or by third parties from time to time expressly indicated. This agreement contains the terms and conditions relating to the use of the Site and the services made available through the Site. These terms govern the User’s responsibilities and, together with other aspects, the limits of our liability. Prior to using the Site, you are required to read this Agreement carefully and in full as well as the Terms of Use which represent the entire Agreement for use of the Site.

By accessing the Site you agree to comply with the terms and conditions contained in this act as well as in the Terms of Use. If you do not agree to any of the terms of the Agreement, please do not use the Site.

Property of EMA

The contents of the Site are and will remain of our exclusive ownership of which we reserve all rights.

You acknowledge that the components, information, data, software, photographs, graphics, videos, graphics, music, sounds, images, illustrations, drawings, icons, logos and any other content on the Site are our exclusive property. Duplication, even partial reproduction, downloading, saving, publishing or dissemination by any means and more generally any act of disposition or use of information or material from this Site, in all forms, through existing or future media and technologies, are prohibited.

The name, brand, logo and icon “EMA”, “EMA Spa” or “Europea Microfusioni Aerospaziali Spa” may not be used in any way and for any purpose, nor as Internet addresses of other sites or as parts of addresses.

Limits of use

The User may only use the Site for legitimate activities and shall not use it for any speculative, fraudulent or illegal activity. It is expressly forbidden to use any part or section of the Site, the information or material on the Site for industrial, commercial or advertising activities of any kind, unless expressly authorized by us in writing. The User declares to be of age (+18 years) or of sufficient age to assume the legal obligations and responsibilities resulting from the use of the Site and, in any case, greater than 16 years. Otherwise, the User must refrain from using the Site.

The user who registers is obliged to indicate only their personal data and ensures that they are true, correct and up to date. You acknowledge that you are responsible for any use of the site by the user or who uses your personal data.

It is a matter of criminal importance to make contractual or other proposals using a false identity or information. Otherwise, we advise you that you will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

The User, in particular, undertakes not to use the Site to:

  1. transmit or disseminate, in any form and/or manner, content that is unlawful, harmful, miners, abusive, harassing, defamatory and/or slanderous, vulgar, obscene, harmful to the privacy of others, discriminatory or reprehensible and in any case adopt persecutory and vexatious attitudes; cause harm, in any way, to minors;
  2. falsify their identity, even in the case of replacing the Owner or falsifying relationships and relationships with the Owner or with other parties of EMA;
  3. create headers or otherwise manipulate distinctive signs or indications in order to counterfeit the origin of content transmitted or disseminated through the Site;
  4. transmit or disseminate, in any form and/or manner, content that does not have the right to transmit or disseminate by virtue of a statutory provision, contract or due to a fiduciary relationship;
  5. transmit or disseminate, in any form and/or manner, content that involves the violation of patents, trademarks, secrets, copyrights or other industrial and/or intellectual property rights of third parties;
  6. transmit or disseminate, through any form of unsolicited solicitation and/or manner, advertising, promotional and commercial material;
  7. transmit or disseminate, in any form and/or manner, any material containing viruses or other codes, files or programs created to interrupt, destroy or restrict the operation of EMA software, hardware or telecommunications facilities;
  8. to interfere or interrupt, whatever the mode used, the services and/or the operation of the servers connected with the services;
  9. to intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable law or regulation; to collect or store personal data of other users, if traceable.

The obligations of the Data Controller to promptly and adequately verify the requests of the competent authorities in the case of investigations aimed at the disclosure of illegal conduct perpetrated online are not affected.

Language

The terms and conditions are written in English and Italian. In case of any discrepancy between the texts or doubts about their interpretation the Italian language will prevail.

Law and jurisdiction

The terms and conditions will be governed and interpreted in accordance with Italian legislation. For everything not expressly provided here, the provisions of law in force in Italian law apply. The Court of Avellino, Italy, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions.
